Arthur Monroe BIGGS, Sr., a resident of Brownsville for some 50 years, died late Wednesday in the Mercy Hospital.
For the past 35 years he had been employed by the Walker-Craig Company. He was a member of the First Methodist Church.
Mr. BIGGS was born March 1, 1906 at Sour Lake, Texas.
Survivors include his wife, a son, Arthur M. BIGGS Jr., and his mother, Mrs. V. W. BIGGS, all of Brownsville; three sisters, Mrs. E. F. HARRISON, of Brownsville, Mrs. C. L. ALEXANDER of Woodland Hills, Calif., and Mrs. A. R. GEORGE of Freemont, Calif.; two brothers, Clarence BIGGS of Mexico City and Joe C. BIGGS of Lake Jackson; and one grandchild.
