Wayne Morgan, 74, of Folkston, GA passed away February 12, 2016 following a lengthy illness. He was born in Charlton County to the late Berry Hansford Morgan and Lillie Thompson Morgan.
He retired from the Charlton County Road Department as Road Superintendant. He loved the outdoors, running his fox dogs, and gardening.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife: Barbara Jean Coe Morgan; a son: Darren Hodges; a brother: Hodson N. Morgan.
He is survived by his children: Cheryl Raulerson, James Hodges & Kevin Hodges; Grandchildren: Noah Raulerson, Megan Bedran, Tabitha Simonton, Carrie Gilmore, Justin Hodges, Jeremy Hodges & Josh Hodges and 8-Great Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Monday, February 15 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home from 6-8 PM. Graveside funeral services will be held at a later date. Memorialization will be by cremation.
