Preston was born in Wilson County, January 2, 1939 to the late Preston Ben and Clara Rose Parrish. He had worked as a lab technician at Monsanto and later worked with IBM refurbishing computers. Preston had a deep passion for the outdoors and fishing. He was most happy when out on the water and nothing was more pleasing than the tug of a bass on the line, no matter the size. He enjoyed watching and playing sports especially basketball and softball. Preston will be remembered as everyone’s handyman and for his deep love of family.
