CURLESS FUNERAL SUNDAY

Government Meat Inspector Lived in City Twenty Years.


Funeral services for Ulysses S. G. Curless, age fifty-five, a government meat inspector and a citizen of Indianapolis for twenty years, who died Friday at his home, 4945 West Washington street, will be held at 9:30 a.m. at the home. The body will be taken to Lafontaine for burial. Mr. Curless had been ill about three and one-half months.

He was born at Swayzee and came to Indianapolis from East St. Louis, Ill., where he lived three years. He was a member of the Swayzee Odd Fellows' Lodge and the Swayzee Christian church.

Mr. Curless is survived by the widow, Mrs. Annetta Curless; two stepsons, Walter and James Burk; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Ethel Dorrie, all of Indianapolis; his mother, Mrs. Mary Curless; eight brothers, Frank, William, Cyrus, Earl, Arthur, John, Albert and Clifford, all of Lafontaine, and a sister, Mrs. Electus White, of Ft. Wayne.
