Mrs. Almira Hart, widow of Sterling Hart, a former resident of Foote's Hill, died on Tuesday morning of last week at her home, 521 Logan Street, Elmira, aged about 84 years and 6 months. The funeral was conducted on Wednesday and the remains were placed in a vault at Elmira, awaiting interment at Foote's Hill. The deceased leaves two sons and three daughters-George D. Hart of Canandaigua Wm. M. Hart of Binghamton; Mrs. Helen Stowell of Lindley; Mrs. Jane A. Havens of Big Flats; and Sarah G. Hart of Elmira; also three brothers and two sisters-George Canfield of Corning; James M. Canfield of Watkins; William Canfield of near Ithaca; Mrs. Henrietta Newman of Ithaca, and Mrs. Susan Mathews of Elmira.
