Ada M. Rappold
ELKHORN - Mrs. Ada May Rappold, 89, died this morning, Friday, March 8, at Lakeland Home, Elkhorn.
Born Oct. 20, 1901, at Heart Prairie, Town of LaGrange, the daughter of Herman and Lizzie Banker Papcke, she married Albert F. Rappold on July 8, 1957, in Whitewater. He died Jan. 6, 1988.
Mrs. Rappold was a member of Christus Evangelical Lutheran Chruch, Richmond. She and her husband co-owned and operated the Turtle lake Tavern and campgrounds prior to their retirement.
She enjoyed outdoor activities and had resided at Lakeland Nursing Home since 1987.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Christus Evangelical Lutheran Church, Richmond, the Rev. Gerald Hintz officiating. Burial will be in Richmond Cemetery. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Monday at the chruch. Skindingsrud Funeral Home, Whitewater, assissted the family with arrangements.
