Douglas Goodell, 94, much loved husband, dad, granpie and great-granpie, passed into Jesus' embrace on February 10, 2016.
He was born in Hot Springs, South Dakota on November 21, 1922.
Doug was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Mary Jane. He was also preceded in death by his mother, father, and his brother.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home.
A celebration of his life will be at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Windcrest United Methodist Church, 8101 Midcrown, 78239.
Interment will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
