Graveside services for Mr. Donald Eugene Curry, age 73, will be held at 4:00 pm, Thursday, February 11, 2016 at the Walnut Hill Cemetery, Bradley, AR with Rev. Todd Pickard officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill, LA.
Visitation will be held Thursday, February 11, 2016 from 2:00 pm until 3:30 pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Curry was born on August 15, 1942 to Darrell Hall Curry and Nona Mae Carr in Bradley, AR and passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 in Springhill, LA. He was retired from Holtzclaw Construction after many years of service, and was a U. S. Navy Veteran. He enjoyed tinkering in his shop, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Margie Wade Curry; two daughters, Tina Curry Thomas and husband, Brian, Tandy Curry Shoumaker and husband, Steve all of Sarepta; six grandchildren, Chelsie Shoumaker and fiancé Brett McCalman, Jorden Williamson, Jarrod Williamson, Corbin Ray Tilley, Lucien Thomas, Genevieve Thomas; two great-grandchildren, Brody Lee McCalman, Jordon Parker Wells; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Curry was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, James Curry, Mack Curry; and sister, Margie Beshea.
Pallbearers will be Jarrod Williamson, Brian Thomas, Steve Shoumaker, John Williamson, Berry Shoumaker, and Jeffrey Beshea. Honorary pallbearers will be J. D. Evans and B.J. Tilley.
