Betty Blakney, age 78, of Pleasant Grove passed away 9 Feb 2016. She was a member of Maytown Baptist Church, where she was pianist for many years.
She retired from the Jefferson County Court System. Betty is survived by her nieces, Sandy Stutts and Pam Stefaniak (Steve); nephew, Robert Stutts (Ladell); great niece Lizzie Stefaniak; and great nephews, William Stutts and Jonathan Stutts.
The visitation will be Friday, 12 Feb 2016, from 12:30 until 2:00 pm at the funeral home. The funeral service will immediately follow visitation at 2:00 pm, with Rev. John Killian officiating.
Burial will be Saturday at 11:00 am, at Pilgrim's Rest Cemetary, Carrollton, Alabama, (Pickens County).
