Mrs. Fidella Rosella Clapp, 71, a resident of McCook for many years, died Sunday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Esther Springer, East B Street. Mrs. Clapp had been in failing health for the past six months.
She was born near Dwight, Neb., and at the age of 18 was married there to Thomas A. Clapp, who preceded her in death in December, 1944.
Surviving her are three sons, Charley and John of McCook, and George of Akron, Colo.; and the daughter in McCook; 24 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Two brothers, Elmer and Elda Mapes, reside at Norton.
