Jacob2, who married Irena Culver, moved to the Finger' Lakes Region of New York State, and then to Fredonia in the very western part of the state. Jacob was trained as a hatter in Morris County, New Jersey. His ties to working with animal hides are similar to those of the New Brunswick Guests. When he moved to New York State, he turned to farming. Irena's maiden family was involved in the Rogerines, a religious sect with ties to the Quakers.
