Obit: Jay Goulg Morde, born Nov. 16 1884 in Lapeer Michigan, son of Enos Morden and Anna DuPee. He married Edith Boughton June 28, 1905,near Alba Mi. and they went to Mancelona, Mi. for 3 years before moving to East Jordan, Mi. where he was employed in a sawmill.
In 1915 they went to Toledo, Oh. and he worked for the Cherry Auto parts Co. He opened his own business, Monroe Auto Parts in Monroe in 1922.
He is survived by his wife:a son Harley Morden of Meadville Pa, a daughter, Mrs. Orville (Genevieve) Uckele of Monroe.
