Hmmm! This headstone says Hasty." However, the headstones of Iron's first two spouses say "Hastey" and his mother's and siblings' headstones say Hastey." Apparently, Iron chose to use this shortened spelling of his name, since a marriage record, his World War II Draft Registration Card and SSDI all show that spelling.
