Dillard Roy Schooley, 68, of Bloomington passed away February 7, 2016. He was born November 26, 1947 in Port Lavaca to the late Clint and Norma Schneider Schooley. Dillard worked at Alcoa for over 40 years in the safety and security division as a supervisor and was head of the emergency response team. He loved to hunt and fish. He dedicated several years of volunteer work with many fire departments.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sue Scott Schooley of Bloomington; daughters, Michelle Quintero and husband, Humberto of Pearland and Melissa Schooley and Calvin of Victoria; his granddaughters he simply adored, Makiah Schooley, Calie Stovall, Heylin and Hayven Quintero; brother, Charles Schooley and wife, Sherry of Bishop; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Rosewood Funeral Chapels. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Rosewood Funeral Chapels with Rev. Clayton Lopez officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Ruben Zarate, Art Esquivel, Tom Batts, Mike Schmidt, David and Andy Epley. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Parker, O.T. Black and The Emergency Response Team at Alcoa.
