Mr. Kaney was born July 16, 1956 in Aiken County to Michael Dennis & Blanche Thompson Kaney.
He was an electrician & had lived most of his life in Aiken County before moving to Arizona two years ago for a temporary job. He owned a home & called New Ellenton, SC home.
Surviving are his wife, Lynn Livingston Kaney, a son Keith Kaney, Kingsport, TN, two stepchildren, Karla Lane and Joey Lane both of New Ellenton, five brothers, Gerald Kaney, Alexander City, AL, Pat Kaney, Buford, GA, Chris Kaney, Aiken, Matt Dillon Kaney, Kingsport, TN and Mark "Tank" Kaney, Aiken, four sisters, Lydia Kaney Gravley, Greer, SC, Marilyn Kaney Mazza, Hermosa Beach, CA, Bernadette Kaney Reiss, Placentia, CA, and Angel Kaney Lynn, Graniteville, SC.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Michael Emmett Kaney.
Rack-o liked to shoot pool. His dad owned a pool room called Kaney's Korner Pocket & that's where he obtained the nickname "Rack-o" as he worked there as a teenager.
That was the day when only guys were allowed in a poolroom.
