Mrs. EDNA MAY ROBERTS, 118 South Jefferson Street, widow of Cornelius H. Roberts, died Wednesday evening at Vindobona Convalescent and Rest Home after a lengthy illness. She was born in Frederick County on June 15, 1889 and was a daughter of the late George A.V. and Lillie E. Delauder Shaff.
She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Feagaville, Mt. Zion Ladies Aid Society and a charter member of the Braddock Grange.
Surviving are the following children: Mrs. John O. Boyer, Sr., RFD 5; Henry V. Roberts, Frederick; Charles C. Roberts, RFD 5; David R. Roberts, RFD 6; two brothers, James V. Shaff, Sr., Jefferson; George Ridgely Shaff, Baltimore; 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Services were held at the M.R. Etchison & Son Funeral Home; interment in Middletown Lutheran Cemetery.
