Mrs. CLARA VIRGINIA KEPLER, 88, 113 East Church Street, formerly of Middletown, and a resident of this city for the past 37 years, died at the home of her daughters, Mrs. Paul C. Willard, 15 Rosemont Avenue, Sunday. Her death occurred on the 55th anniversary of the death of her husband, J. Luther Kepler, who was killed in the B&O freight yards at Brunswick. She is the daughter of the late Josiah and Mary Routzahn Doub, of Middletown.

She was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran church and for the past 37 years was a teacher in the Church school.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Willard; a son, Homer D. Kepler, both of this city; and a sister, Mrs. Martin S. Remsburg, Penns Grove, NJ; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The funeral of Mrs. Clara Virginia Kepler, widow of J. Luther Kepler, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Paul C. Willard, Sunday afternoon took place from the M.R. Echison Funeral Home. Pallbearers were: Clark Routzahn, Earl Kepler, Roscoe Doub, Melvin Doub, Virgil W. Doub, and James H. Falk. Interment was made in the Lutheran Cemetery, Middletown.
