Mrs. Alta Kefauver Bowlus, wife of George A. Bowlus, well-known resident of Middletown, died at Frederick Memorial Hospital Tuesday afternoon, aged 64.

She was a daughter of the late Samuel and Emma (Fink) Kefauver of Middletown.

Besides her husband, she is survived bu the following sons; George S. Elmira, N. Y., Richard S., Frederick, E. Robert, Middletown; sisters, Mrs. Roland Huffer, Braddock, Mrs. Esta Ahalt, York, Mrs. Florence Wise, Catonsville, Mrs. Stella Wolfe, Hanover, brothers Stanley, Ellicott City, Morris of York and Roy of Laurel.

Mrs. Bowlus had been agent for the C and P Telephone Company for about 45 years, and was a member of the Middletown Lutheran Church.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home in Middletown Friday afternoon at 2 0'clock, Rev. Donald F. Brake officiating. Interment in Lutheran Cemetery, Middletown.
