Tommie Nell (Young) Boatfield, 86, died on February 4, 2016. She was born in Cherokee County, Alabama on February 18, 1929 to William Alex Young and Iva (Chandler) Young. She was a member of Turkeytown United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Howard Boatfield; her parents; brother, William Lloyd Young; and nephews, Tim Young and Steve Young. She is survived by her daughter, son, brother, sister, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral: 1:00 p.m. February 6, 2016 at Collier-Butler Funeral Home. Entombment at Crestwood Mauseoleum.
