Obituary for Clara M. Crenshaw

Clara M. Crenshaw, age 94 of Pitts, passed away Thursday, February 4 , 2016 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 6th in the M. G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier and Son Funeral Home. Reverend Quillian Barfield, Reverend David Clark and Reverend Royce Freeman will officiate. Interment will be in the family plot in the Double Run Cemetery.

Mrs. Crenshaw was born on November 24, 1921 in Fitzgerald. She was daughter of the late Perry Duncan Youngblood and Linnie Rackley Youngblood. She was a member of the Double Run Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was widower of the late William H. Crenshaw and was preceded in death by two sons-Roger Crenshaw in 2011 and Norman Crenshaw in 2014 and one grandson-Blake Moore in 2005.

Survivors include: son-Leland Sam (Sheila) Crenshaw of Cordele, daughters-Shirley Gray of Albany, Elaine (Buddy) Strickland of Rochelle, Anita (Lee) Wright of Cordele, Minnie (Carl) Bailey of Cordele, Patty Crenshaw (David) White of Atlanta and Gena Moore of Cordele, 13-grandhchildren and 13-great-grandchildren and her caregivers-Betty Cape, Sheila Passmore and Patricia Bagwell.

Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Friday, February 5th in the funeral home.

Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
