Lucille Johnson, 90 of Evansville died Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at the Evansville Care Center.

Lucille Fern Johnson was born on September 15, 1925, the daughter of Max and Florence (Eisfeld) Beilke. She was baptized and confirmed in the United Methodist Church. Lucille attended the Little Falls High School and graduated from there in 1943.

Lucille and Gordon Johnson were married on April 22, 1950. After their marriage they lived on their farm by Evansville where she was a homemaker. She had worked for Missouri Angling Club, Nelsons Store, Skelly Café and for the Evansville Nursing Home as a cook. Lucille liked puzzles, baking, needlework, mowing lawn and really enjoyed bowling for many years. She was a member of the Calvary Covenant Church and the Kindness Club.

She is survived by three daughters, Susan (Arlynn) Lee Johnson of Evansville, Nancy (C.P.) Cole of Smithville, OK and Lori (Guy) Farmer of Thompson Falls, MT; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, Dennis (Laurie) Lee and Donell of Evansville, Eric (Nancy) Jacobson, Madalaine and Braxton of Spring Hill, TN, Douglas (Brenda) Lee and Autumn of Evansville, Matthew (Liz) Wells and Freedom of Watertown, SD, and Sarah (Robert) Irvin and Lucy of Zion, ILL; three sisters, Mildred Johnson of Miltona, Doris (Clayton) Burnelle of Milwaukee, OR and Carol (Rick) Wachter of Forest Lake; one sister-in-law, Lisa Beilke of Palm Coast, FL; and by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, Max and Florence Beilke; husband, Gordon Johnson; son-in-law, Donald Lee; sister, Maxine Medill; brother, Max Beilke; and by two brothers-in-law, Robert Medill and Don Johnson.

Funeral Service: 1:00 pm, Saturday, February 6, 2016, at Calvary Covenant Church in Evansville.

Visitation: Friday from 4 to 7 pm with a Prayer Service at 6:30 pm at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

Clergy: Rev. Kendall Churchill
