Charles Edward Ranscheart, 72, of Okolona, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2003, at his home.
He was a retired employee of L&N Railroad, where he had worked for 33 years, and a US Army veteran of the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Helen Ranscheart.
He is survived by three sons, Frank B., Jeffery S. and Charles A. Ranscheart; a stepson, Robert Hale; four sisters, Doris Burgin, Wanda Lawrence, Linda Ranscheart and Sue Vessels; one brother, James Ranscheart; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at noon Friday at Arch L. Heady & Son, Okolona, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. Thursday. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Heart Association
