Elizabeth "Liz" Ann Damron Epps, cherished wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at the age of 78.

Born in Oglethorpe County on August 14, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Grady and Jeanie Damron. Liz retired from Reliance Electric after more than 27 years of employment. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Jack Archer, Annie Sue Archer Martin, Thelma Archer Cox, Louise Archer Bales, Jack Damron and Mary Damron Duncan and her infant children, Michael and Anita Epps.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, JW Epps; children, Bruce (Denise) Epps; Gloria (Jim) Booth; grandchildren, Melissa (Kieser) Hull, Michael (Kristen) Epps, Amanda (Darius) Ross, Meagan Booth and Wesley Booth; ten great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, Betty Jo Fowler, Eulene Ingram, Willene Disharoon, Melinda Bernard; brother-in-law, Gary Epps and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to Bristol Hospice for their care.

Memorial services were held at Gilead Baptist Church on Sunday, July 24, 2022.
