Robert Armstrong is my great, great grandfather, his wife was Lavenia DeTar, daughter of Elizabeth Seigfried DeTar and Andrew DeTar who are my great, great, great grandparents. Robert's date of death is actually on the portion of the gravestone that has sunken below ground.
I am not possession of any primary proof of those dates, but those are the dates quoted in the book by Ruth Hall and Lucille O'Brien, "DeTars and Allied Families" and also in the book by Jean F. and Vesta Bush Gwaltny, "Our DeTar (1715 to 2001) and Armstrong (1789 to 2001) Family." So far as I know neither of these books has been circulated to the general public but were made available in a limited number to family members.
I only sent the dates along as a potential aid to other researchers.
