A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, July 3, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints located on Spruce Street in Gridley for Clifford W. Bagley, 90 of Biggs. California. He passed away Saturday, June 28, 2008 at Rideout Memorial Hospital in Marysville, California of natural causes.
Clifford was born December 5, 1917 in Baker, Oregon. He was a Mid-valley resident for over 30 years. He worked until age 82. Early in his career he was a banker, later he was a developer of housing subdivision homes and an industrial park in Woodburn, Oregon. During his time in the Mid-valley he was an entrepreneur and an owner in several retail and wholesale businesses. He was President of Chambers of Commerce and Rotary Clubs in various locations during his career as a banker and developer. He was an active member of The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. When he was 19 he served as a missionary for his church in England and later with his wife in Winnipeg, Canada. For his church he served as Branch President and/or Bishop four times (St. Helens, OR; Roseburg, OR; Woodburn, OR; and Shady Cove, OR) and twice as a District President (Manchester, England and Corvallis, OR).

He was preceded in death by his parents, George William Bagley and Emma Southworth Bagley and ten brothers and sisters. Clifford is survived by his wife, 3 daughters and a son Larry Bagley & wife Sally of Yuba City, CA. He and his wife have 29 grandchildren and 57 great-grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held Thursday, July 3, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints located on Spruce St. in Gridley. Brother John Tolman of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints, First Ward will officiate at the services. Interment will be held at Gridley-Biggs Cemetery.
