Cornelious Hulett “Hugh” Jackson, 91, of Fayetteville passed away February 1, 2016. He served in the US Army, in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater during World War II.

Hugh was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Juanita “Nita” Jackson.

He is survived by his sons Carl (Barbara) Jackson, Marcus (Vanessa) Jackson, and Jerry (Janet) Johnson, granddaughters Toni (Troy) Martin, Lisa (Cory) Thomas, and Jessica (Garrett) Norris, great-grandson Tanner Martin, and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, February 4, 2016, at 3:00PM, at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 3, 2016, from 6:00-8:00PM, at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, www.woundedwarriorproject.org/donate.
