Garden City--Dale "John" Davidson,78, died April 10,1993 at Terrace Garden Care Center, Garden City,Ks.

Born September 5,1914 in Macksville,Ks. the son of Edward Lee and Minnie A.(Hearn)Davidson, he married Melba C.Grant on May 28,1936 at Garden City,Ks.

He moved to Gray County with his family in 1915 and graduated from Cimarron High School. He farmed north of Cimarron until retiring in 1983 and moving to Garden City,Ks.

He was a member of the Southwind Country Club,Garden City,Ks.

Survivors include: wife of the home; two daughters, Connie Beery,Cimarron,Ks and Sue Brill, Salem,Ore; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral service was held at the First United Methodist Church in Cimarron,Ks with Rev. Dan Ferguson officiating.
