Myron graduated in 1946 from Richmond High School and enlisted into the Army Air Force. He served his country from May 17, 1946 until his honorable discharge October 4, 1947. Myron was awarded the World War II Victory Medal and the Army of Occupation Medal-Japan.

Myron graduated from Earlham College, Richmond in 1953 and married his sweetheart, H. Lavonne Burdette, on June 13, 1953.

Myron retired in May 1993 as a technical writer from Magnavox Electronic Systems and had also taught technical writing as an adjunct instructor at Indiana Purdue Fort Wayne.

A loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather Myron enjoyed spending time with his family, capturing precious memories in picture form. He spent his retirement creating hand crafted memento books for his family members. As a man of faith, he knew Jesus as his Savior, referring often to Jesus as "the Good Lord." He was also a World War II aircraft enthusiast, able to identify any of the airplanes by looking at their engines, cockpits and wings. Myron combined his enthusiasm for World War II aircraft and photography by supplying homes for orphaned and troubled children with pictures of plane and photobooks.
