Emigrated from Germany on the Ship from Germany Arnold Boninger in 1855 he came with his wife Martha and sons Frank, Moritz and Henry daughters Mary and Anna (died on the trip on board ship) Note the name spelling, there were several variations. including some of the children dropping the e from last name.

inmate of the poor farm for many
years, died Monday aged over 80
years, He was buried Thursday
from St. Peters German Catholic church.

county poor farm, died Monday and
was buried yesterday morning in
the Catholic cemetery, services
being conducted at St. Peter's
church by Father van den Berg.
Mr. Gross Was over 80 years old
and had been an inmate of the
poor house for many years.
