Catherine Victor, 96, Foley
Foley--Catherine "Katie" Victor, 96, died today at Foley Nursing Center.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. John's Catholic Church. The Rev. Alfred Heltemes will officate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday at Foley Funeral Home. Parish prayers will be 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Catherine Victor was born Feb. 28, 1898, in Germany to Anthony and Mary Wolfbauer. She had been a resident of Foley since 1900 and married Frederick Victor in 1925. She worked as a meat wrapper for various meat processing firms and had been employed by Foley Produce before her retirement in 1984.
Survivors include a brother, Carl; Detroit, Mich; eight grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 11 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1948; daughters, Geraldine Clanton and Ellen Mazacek; five brothers; and one sister.
Pallbearers will be Mike, Gary, Mark, Tom and Dick Mazacek and Frank Wolfbauer.
