MADISON/WAUNAKEE — Catherine S. Kuehn, age 96, died on Tuesday, September 13, 1988, at the Waunakee Manor Health Care Center. The former Catherine Koch was born on August 31, 1892, in Waunakee. She was married to Joseph Kuehn; he preceded her in death. She was a past employee of Madison General Hospital, and also worked as a foster grandparent at Central Colony. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Madison. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Hedwig Pertzborn of Madison, Mrs. Theresa [Teresa] Meyer of Madison; a brother-in-law, Henry Esser of Madison; four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Rosella Kuehn of Madison; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Eleanor Mary; and a son, Alfred. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 16, 1988, at 10:00 a.m. at the WINN-SCHWAB FUNERAL HOME, and at 10:30 a.m. at ST. MARTIN'S CATHOLIC CHURCH. Reverend Thomas Schroeder will officiate. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
