Edward Jay Phillips, age 66, of Minneapolis died Friday, April 8, 2011 after a courageous nine-year battle against multiple myeloma. He passed peacefully at home surrounded by his adoring children. Eddie was a man of great generosity, humility, humor and kindness whose impact on his community and those that knew him will endure for generations to come. His success in business, love for family and friends and advocacy for those less fortunate were hallmarks of a beautiful life.
