Funeral services for Mrs. Lou Cresie Bailey, 88, will be held at 4 p.m. Friday in the Newberry Funeral Home.
Rev. J.W. Newton, minister of the Assembly of God Church, of which she was a member, will officiate and burial will be in the Estelline Cemetery. Grandsons will be pallbearers.
Mrs. Bailey died at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday in a local nursing home.
She was born October 1, 1884, in Batesville, Ark., married Walter Eubank Bailey December 5, 1901, and they moved to Childress County in 1904. He died August 11, 1941.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Bernice Gregory, Mrs. Ester Foster and Mrs. Marie Smith, all of Childress, and Mrs. Elmer H. Williams of Perryton; two sons, Bill Bailey of Wellington and Walter Bailey of Amarillo, 46 grandchildren, 76 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
