BRAMWELL – Judith Kay Blankenship Hagy, 55, of P.O. Box 1181, Bramwell 24715, died Thursday, September 2, 2004 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center, Bluefield.

Born March 25, 1949 in Welch, shewas the daughter of the late Cal A. and Vonia Street Blankenship.

She was a graduate of Pocahontas High School. She was a driver for Bramwell Headstart. She had a paper route for the Bluefield Daily Telegraph for the past 17 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Kimberly Kay Hagy; sister, Helen (Ruby) Aamodt; brother, Hubert D. Blankenship.

Surviving are her husband, Earl J. Hagy of the home; one son, Michael E. Hagy of Bramwell; sister, Rita Jenkins of Bramwell; two brothers, Kenneth and Roy Blankenship of Abbs Valley, Va.; grandchildren, Cortney and Jordan Hagy; special friends, Denise Hall of Abbs Valley, Sissy Williams and Cindy Pitzer of Bramwell; and 11 nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Rodriguez Pocahontas Funeral Home Chapel in Pocahontas, Va. with the Rev. Ancil Childress officiating.

Burial will follow at the Woodlawn Memorial Park, Bluewell.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. today at the Rodriguez Pocahontas Funeral Home Chapel.

Pallbearers: Kenneth D. and Shawn Jenkins, Jay Barringer, Aaron Colins, Keith and Edward Williams, and Shane Blankenship.
