STAR HARBOR -- Mrs. Adele Luthera Palko, 76, passed away on Saturday evening, Feb. 7, 1998, at the East Texas Medical Center in Athens, Texas.

Mrs. Palko, was born on May 10, 1921, in Owatonna, Minn., the daughter of Archie and Martha Disbrow. She was a member of the First Christian Church and attended in Athens, Texas.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Stephanie Palko McGar and her husband, Shaun; and a son, Jeffrey Palko.

She was a wonderful homemaker and will be missed by all.

Survivors include her husband, James R. Palko of Star Harbor, Texas; two sons and daughters-in-law, Gregory and Melissa Palko of Midland, Texas, and Robert A. and Roberta Palko of Woodland Calif.; one daughter and son-in-law, Katherine and Randy Boys of Allen, Texas; four granddaughters, Mary and Anna Palko of Midland, Texas, Jennifer Palko of Woodland, Calif., and Lucina Palko of Allen, Texas; and one grandson, Ian Boys of Allen, Texas.

Graveside services are set for 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, 1998, at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery on North Taylor Road in McAllen with the Rev. Bill Hicks officiating.

Funeral services were entrusted to the care of Kreidler Funeral Home of McAllen.
