W. Joe Brown died early Wednesday at his home in Arlington after a brief illness. He was a salesman and jobber for Shapley Harware Company with territories in Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas. He lived in Dallas before moving to Arlington seven years ago.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a. m. Friday in Moore Funeral Chapel, Arlington. Rev. H. E. East will officiate and burial will be held in Rose Hill.
Survivors are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. B. M. Gilmore of Los Angeles; One grandson, Cadet Ben W. Gilmore, stationed at Reese Air Force base in Lubbock.
