My grand uncle Joe is the son of William Clary Brown and Calidonia Jane Hoover. He married Henrietta Eleanor Warren 17 Jan 1894 in El Reno, Canadian Co, Oklahoma. Aunt Etta died in 1930 and uncle Joe married Elli Moore Pool 15 Dec 1931 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Co, OK.

W. Joe Brown died early Wednesday at his home in Arlington after a brief illness. He was a salesman and jobber for Shapley Harware Company with territories in Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas. He lived in Dallas before moving to Arlington seven years ago.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a. m. Friday in Moore Funeral Chapel, Arlington. Rev. H. E. East will officiate and burial will be held in Rose Hill.
Survivors are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. B. M. Gilmore of Los Angeles; One grandson, Cadet Ben W. Gilmore, stationed at Reese Air Force base in Lubbock.
