Arden Henry Stein, 76, of Pepin, Wis., passed away Friday, Nov. 18, 2011, at the Heritage of Elmwood Nursing Home, where he had been a resident.
He was the son of Henry and Laurinda Morth Stein. He was born Oct. 2, 1935, in rural Pepin. On May 28, 1955, he married Charlotte Wibel Van Zentin. They later divorced. They had one son, Randy Arden Stein.
Arden will be missed by his son, Randy (Alice) Stein of Lake City; his grandchildren, Jolene Smolek of Red Wing, Jason Stein of Mazeppa and Melissa (Karl) Schumacher of Mazeppa; great-grandchildren, Briana Smolek, Brooklyn Smolek, Ava Schumacher and Autum Schumacher; one sister, Carol Evans of Garrison, Mont.; and nieces, relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Private services will be held at a later date.
