She graduated from Newbold High School. She was a member of Brevard Chapel United Methodist Church and attended Ebenezer United Methodist Church. She worked at Newbold High School in the cafeteria and at Carolina Mills during her life.
Interment in St. James United Methodist Church Cemetery.
