John C. Treffers, 68, of 1309 W. Grover St. in Lynden, died Friday at his home.
Born Nov. 18, 1911, in the Netherlands, Treffers owned and operated Treffers Sand and Gravel and had a contract milk route with Arden Farms for many years. He married his wife, Sophia, in 1938 in Wenatchee.
He is survived by his wife, a half-brother, and other family members.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the First Reformed Church in Lynden. Cremation will follow at Greenacres Memorial Park under the direction of Gillies Funeral Home.

Greenacres Memorial Park Crematory was used for cremation but remains not at Greenacres.
