David and Bobbi lived in Carroll, IA before moving to Malcom in 1986. He was employed as a welder for the Donaldson Company for 28 years. After the closure of the Donaldson Company in the fall of 2015, he purchased one half interest of the Gilman Tap.
David enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved his family and spending time with his friends.
David was killed when he lost control of his car on the ice and slid into a culvert.
