Mr. Jean Kee, 79, of Henderson, was born to the late Homer and Jewel (McDougal) Kee. He served his country in the U.S. Army and later retired from Shell Pipeline as a Corrosion Specialist. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Henderson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Karen Beeman.

Funeral services for Mr. Jean Kee, 79, of Henderson, will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at First Baptist Church with Dr. David Higgs and Jason Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery, outside of Troup, under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 5-6 pm on Wednesday, January 27 at the funeral home.

Mr. Kee passed from this life on January 25, 2016 in Nacogdoches. He was born December 12, 1936 in Cherokee County to the late Homer and Jewel (McDougal) Kee. Jean served his country in the U.S. Army and later retired from Shell Pipeline as a Corrosion Specialist. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Henderson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Karen Beeman.

Survivors include: wife Beth Kee of Henderson, daughter Kelley Freeman and husband Clyde of Arlington, son Turner Kee and wife Heather of Nacogdoches, son-in-law David Beeman of El Paso, family by choice Mike and Cathy Robertson of Henderson, brother Carlos Kee and wife Pauline of Troup, sister Joyce Stites and husband Wes of Colorado, sister-in-law Terry Kee of Las Cruces, NM, and grandchildren Kipp Marshall and wife Marie, Brady Marshall, Kaitlin Houk and husband Hunter, and Elise Kee.

Pallbearers will be Turner Kee, Brady Marshall, Kipp Marshall, Larry Kee, Rodney Broadway, and Connor Robertson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of East Texas at 4111 University Blvd, Tyler, TX 75701 or First Baptist Church at 207 W. Main St., Henderson, TX 75652.
