Longtime local resident Elizabeth Mae Bergquist, 96, of Castle Rock died July 17, 2002, at a Kelso adult care facility.
She was born Feb. 25, 1906, in Dietz, Wyo., to George W. and Elizabeth Bessie (Dunn) Renie. She lived in the area since 1933, coming from Gebo, Wyo...
She is survived by two daughters...a brother...three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous stepchildren and stepgrandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her husbands, Oscar Bergquist in 1971, John Corcoran in 1965, and John Bennett in 1924; a daughter, Olive Bennett, in 1924; two brothers, Samuel Renie and George Renie Jr.; and a sister, Annabelle Perin.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Dahl-McVicker Funeral Home.
Interment will take place at Cowlitz View Memorial Gardens. The viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to service time Monday at the funeral home.
