Marge was born August 12, 1928 in Teton City, Idaho to Mark Leslie Clark and Reva Thomson Clark.

She was an only child until her sister Janet was born ten years later.

Marge grew up in Teton. In her younger days she helped her dad working on the family farm, fixing fences and rouging weeds from the potato fields. She had strong family bonds as her Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, and many cousins lived close by.

Marge attended Teton elementary school, graduated from South Freemont High School, and Ricks College where she was a member of the college swim team. After college she taught dance and was a switchboard operator for Mountain Bell Telephone Company.

It was during this time when she met and fell in love with the love of her life, Gib Marchant. Together they raised four children, Mike (Marla) of Meridian, Idaho, Kae (Gary) of Grays Lake, Idaho, Bob (Teressa) of Laramie, Wyoming, and Melanie of Eagle, Idaho. She was blessed with four grandchildren, Tiffany, Candy, Justin, Jared, and one step-grandson, Jeremy, and five great grandchildren.

Gib worked for Peter Kiewit & Son’s, a large highway construction company, building highways in Wyoming, Idaho, Montana and South Dakota. They moved many times and Marge made numerous long lasting friendships wherever she lived.

In 1992 Gib retired and they sold their home in Lander, Wyoming and moved to Idaho to be closer to family.

They lived in Fruitland for a short time and decided to move to the Boise area. They also had a winter home in Mesquite, Nevada where Marge and Gib took up golfing. Marge enjoyed the game and strived to be the best. They also purchased a home in Garden Valley on Terrace Lakes Golf Course to get out of the summer heat of Boise. She made good friends there and enjoyed golfing and roaming the trails in their four-wheeler with their friends.

Marge took great joy in spending time with her family and she will be dearly missed by all.
