Bom December 29, 1926 in Catawba County, Mr. Locke was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church. He was retired from Hickory Chair as a Quality Control supervisor was a member of Hickory Masonic Lodge 60 and Hickory Council 32.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ashley & Ethel Abee Locke.
Survivors include his wife Nellie Pope (Peep) Locke of the home; two sons Ronald (Ron) Locke of West Palm Beach, FL and Lynn B Locke of Bethlehem; two granddaughters Ashley Locke of Bethlehem and Salina Locke of Wilmington, NC; two grandsons Austin Locke of Bethlehem and Gnffin Locke of West Palm Beach, FL and two sisters Mrs Boyd (Mary) Huffman of Vale and Mrs Betty Peile of Baton.
