WILLIAM K. ADMIRE was born in Oldham Co., Kentucky to Squire and Frances (Beasley) Admire. He married Mary E. Young on May 15, 1858 in Johnson Co., Indiana. They were the parents of Allie (Admire) Edwards, Willard H. Admire, James C. "Buck" Admire, Van Every Admire, Livy Admire, Glennie (Admire) Cranford, and Lula (Admire) Goodner. William K. Admire served for two years in the Indiana legislature. He and most of his family removed to Oklahoma in 1901, where his son, Willard H. Admire, became a judge at Stephens Co., Oklahoma.
