Orvil Thompson Murr, 96, passed away Friday January 19, 2016 in Eden, Texas.
He leaves behind his son-in-law David Johnson of Menard, a daughter Dixie Kay and husband Revaun of Junction, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Orvil was born and raised in the Junction area and after high school joined the US Navy.
He married Lottie Alyene Mefford and was very active in the Baptist church he belong to. In his early years he ranched and later he realized he enjoyed working with heavy equipment and went into construction business, Orvil enjoyed hunting and traveling. He enjoyed just getting out in the country and seeing nature. His greatest joy in life was family and having his grandchildren around.
He is preceded in death by his wife, 1 son and 1 daughter and his sibling.
