Passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 23, 2014 at Victoria Hospital at the age of 71.Beloved husband of Connie Sargant. Dear brother of Bill and his wife Ann Sargant of Burlington. Also survived by his brother-in-law Gerry and his wife Els Gobel of Belgium. Predeceased by his brother Jack and his wife Esther Sargant. He will also be missed by his niece Nathalie and nephews Jeffery and Leigh. Alan spent his life as a research food chemist and was the founder of the London Ice Cream Company.Alan has bequeathed his body to Western University at the Schulich School of Medicine.
