Bishop A.L. Buchanan conducted the services. A quartet composed of Mr. and Mrs. J. Lerue Ogden, Miss Marion Bean and Alfred Ward of Richfield, with Miss Melba Cope of Richfield as accompanist, sang, "Oh My Father," "My Father Knows", and "That Beautiful Land." "God Careth For Me" was sung as a solo by Mrs. M.W. Smith. Speakers were J.H. Ford, who spoke of his long acquaintance with Mr. Davis and of their boyhood days together; President R.D. Young of the Manti Temple, who spoke of the heritage left by the pioneers and of hope in the hereafter; and J.C. Cowley, who recalled with appreciation his association with Mr. Davis in his later years. The invocation was by Sam Roundy; the benediction, by John Henry Payne.

Interment was in the Venice Cemetery, where A.W. Buchanan dedicated the grave. Pallbearers were grandsons of Mr. Davis--Ellis, Lawrence, Lee and Lex Davis, and Garn and Vern Cowley. Granddaughters carried the many floral offerings.
