William Sanford Money was the son of Howell and Nancy Morrison Money. Census records suggest that he was born Dec 1862 in Yadkin County, NC. When Howell didn't come home at the end of the Civil War, his mother and brother joined his uncle's family and moved west to Hancock Co, IL and eventually landing in Nodaway County, Missouri. After coming of age William moved further west to ElDorado, Kansas.
He was married three times.
His first wife Alice in about 1885. They had two children: Lewis and Eva.
Then Ellen Jane between 1897 and 1907. They had two daughters: Mildred and Pearl.
Last to Fannie J Harker in 1929.
He was a barber. He lived at 306 W Central in El Dorado.
