Olive Ann Brown Groover, age 88, died Friday, January 22, 2016 at her residence under the care of Gentiva Hospice. The Stilson, GA native was a lifelong resident of Bulloch County and a homemaker. She was the daughter of the late Luther E. and Olive Hixson Brown.
Olive Ann was an avid painter who loved painting china, watercolors, ceramics, gourds and canvas, “if it sat still she would paint it” according to her family. She was a member of Old Fellowship Baptist Church. Olive Ann was preceded in death by her husband Francis C. Groover.
Olive Ann had 2 sons and 2 daughters: Clark Hixson Groover & his wife Betty Lynn Phillips Groover. William Eugene Groover & his wife Elizabeth Marie Tippins Groover. Joan Groover Scott & her husband Jay D'Orazio Scott. Clare Groover Maddry & her husband Joseph Andrew Maddry.
